Refresher lessons are designed to boost confidence, awareness and driving skills which all help to make us better drivers. Whether you are new on the road, returning to driving after a few years, have lost a bit of confidence or just need help in a particular area, such as motorway driving, night driving or parking – a refresher course will help.
Studies have shown that new drivers and inexperienced drivers are more likely to be involved in an accident. Today’s roads are congested with more vehicles on the move than at any other time in history. We all need to be aware of our ability to keep safe on the roads, not only for ourselves but for other road users. If you don’t drive on a regular basis your confidence on the road may be reduced, this could lead to you making mistakes and putting yourself and others at risk – so don’t wait to have an accident take a refresher course and stay safe on the road.

Yes – you can do refresher lessons in your own car, however some instructors may advise using the driving school car in certain circumstances.
Refresher lessons are individually tailored to the customer and can be anything from one hour and upwards depending on your needs.
Yes – the student can highlight any areas of concern about their driving and the instructor will base the refresher lessons on the needs of each individual student.
No – there is no maximum age applied to refresher lessons. You must hold a full valid driving licence and be able to read a number plate from 20 metres.
Yes – you can do automatic refresher lessons they can be conducted in your own car or in an instructors car providing we have automatic instructors available – you can discuss this option when booking your refresher course.
