Emma is a graduate of the Begin Driving Instructor Training Programme and joins the team from September 2024. Emma brings with her over 15 years experience in customer service supporting students at college and in the past 8 years she has worked as a Deputy Manager in a children’s residential care home supporting vulnerable teenagers and helping them to gain stability and the skills needed to move onto independence.
Looking for a new career path Emma decided to become a driving instructor, she has 17 years driving experience and her background gives her an excellent skill set to communicate with people on any level. She has a great ability to transfer her expertise into the instructor roll and teach students the skills required to drive safely for life on today’s roads. Emma is a great addition to our team and we wish her all the success for her future with Begin Driving.
Outside of work Emma has a keen interest in photography, crafts and enjoying sightseeing holidays.
Fun Fact – 17 years ago Emma was a Begin Driving student and her instructor was our very own Allan.
